Hill Inlet is not on every Whitehaven ticket

Commercial days from Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour sell “Whitehaven” as the brand. Some include the Hill Inlet lookout. Some emphasise a long beach window. Some drop the lookout when sea state or group pace will not reverse the steps in time. The night-before job is to read that line, not to assume the poster photo is included.

If you need the swirl, filter products that name the lookout, then still accept weather. If you need easy sand for mixed mobility, filter beach-level and stop hoping for steps.

Failure one: cheapest Whitehaven ticket, Instagram swirl expectation, surprise beach-only landing. Failure two: you leave the signed track or miss the tender for “one more angle.” The boat clock ends the walk. Unofficial ledges are how people get hurt and how the place degrades.
